Another interesting talk by Richard St. John, this is the second time I have blogged one of his videos. I posted some thoughts on success ealier in the month. This video features Richard talking for 3 minutes and 55 seconds and was filmed at TED 2009 in February.
So I went to Billy Talent on Tuesday at Gateway in Durban. It was so cool to see them. The Dirty skirts opened for them, they were decent but man oh man did Billy Talent bring it! Megan and I really enjoyed ourselves and kept warm on that freezing night by huddling in the 2000+ crowd. There is nothing quite like international live music to grace your ears, I thought the sound was epic and Ben (the lead singer) sure did entertain. I managed to capture some video of two songs, Try Honesty and This Suffering and took a few pics.
This post was going to be called Me and my little blue book but it wasn’t.
It is however called Thoughts on wireframes and that is exactly what I am going to write about.
wireframes – a visual map of a webpage or a user interface that outlines layout and function of elements that helps define how pages appear and behave.
I can’t start a new website or web page without a wireframe, I believe it’s one of the best forms of planning you can do, it’s cheap, it’s quick (if you know what you want) and it’s your road map to a HOT layout.
Megan and I were chatting on Monday about Billy Talent at the Wavehouse, Gateway and I was pretty keen to go! Then on Tuesday I saw this tweet by Lauren which lead me to this competition on BearThryllz.com and I thought finally a competition worth entering! So I entered and today I won! This was such a cool experience, can’t wait to have my own comp, someday soon maybe anyway see you at the show maybe?
